Justin’s back on the sesh and he is riled all the way up, dude. This week’s story starts with a “simple” new ordering system at work — one tiny extra step that was supposed to make everything more efficient. Instead it’s turned into a week-long war between Justin and a rotating cast of characters (shoutout to Tiptoes, Acne, and ZZ Top Beard) who all insist they know what the word “trigger” means… and none of them do.Add in a micromanager who won’t stop screaming his name, one legendary coworker with the single greatest breakdown of corporate dysfunction you’ll ever hear, and a rant about why nobody tests anything before they launch it anymore — this episode has it all. You’ve been in this conversation before. You know this guy. Press play and find out just how close Justin came to throwing hands over a piece of tape on the floor.Thoughts Off The Stem is a comedy podcast packed with hilarious observations, personal stories, and unfiltered takes on everyday life. This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Justin tried manifesting for two months on an assembly line.

Nothing changed. He still has no money. Still renting. Still no yacht. But he did develop a nagging internal voice that interrupted every “I am wealthy” with a very firm “no you’re not.”

Turns out your brain is not an idiot. You can’t trick it. And if you spend enough time lying to yourself on repeat, one of two things happens — you either annoy yourself enough to actually get off the couch and do something, or you end up like Michael Douglas in Falling Down, standing in traffic with a briefcase and a 200 page manifesto wondering how you got there.

This week is a full unfiltered rant about manifesting, vision boards, the guy on TikTok who changes timelines through his shower, why mantras are not magic, and what manifesting actually is when you strip away the incense and the dirty carpet and the cosmic Amazon Prime fantasy.

Spoiler: you still have to do the work. 🌿

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem: Every boy hits that age where he thinks he can take dad. Mine came on a car ride, music cranked, cruising down the highway. Then it happened, his face contorted and everything changed.

From that point on I had a hard time understanding why people hold others that they idolize to a higher standard. After I saw my dads face switch from grown man to toddler with a mustache, it was a little harder to take him seriously.

See the thing is, we all have that moustachioed toddler face in us. It just takes the right set of circumstances to flush it out.

They say don’t meet your idols. I say do meet your idols, just don’t be surprised at what you get.

Hope you enjoy the sesh!

Join Justin Barone as he turns life’s frustrations, weird thoughts, and the absurd into laughs. You don’t find out who you are or what you’re capable of, through a TV or pancaked to the couch. You gotta get out there man. Try new things, take some risks, grab life by the balls and run with it.It’s kinda like edibles. Some times you go to deep and you feel like you might not make it back to yourself. You will. That initial burst of anxiety and paranoia will have you thinking you’re about to have to fight for your life. You won’t. But the euphoria that over takes you after that is amazing. That’s the part that’s like life. With struggle and discomfort comes a certain level of pride, comfort and calmness. That’s your reward for making it through the struggle and achieving your goals. You need that balance to really appreciate the reward. So take that risk, find the joy and maybe from time to time take an edible.Hope you enjoy the sesh.Listen, watch, and learn more at Tots420.com.

Now that we have had legal cannabis in canada for little while, do you ever miss having a dealer?

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Justin is reminiscing about what it was like to have a dealer, or a couple “guys” you could grab from.

They all had different personalities and different rules to follow when copping off them.

There was the dude who’s walls were lined with reptiles and a snake that resembled a carpet.

The guy that lived with his parents who would meet you across the road with a stash of mix tapes that had that sticky icky inside. Tapes not included.

The dudes that had the the 30 minute hang out rule and the guy who would withhold the erb until all his chores were done. Sometimes you’d have to help him clean his pond, or build a treehouse.

In a tight spot you might have to run to a really sketchy neighbourhood, leave one person in the car and keep it running just in case you had to make a quick getaway.

Either way it was way more adventurous then just walking down the road to the shop to pick up your favourite flower.

Hope you enjoy the sehs!

There’s just some things guys shouldn’t do in public. Maybe it’s my own childishness or lack of maturity, but really… some things should be done in the privacy of your own home because there are just some things you can’t unsee.

Ever want to get revenge on someone at work? Not enough to get fired… just enough to make them question their sanity?

Yeah… me too.

That’s why I love immature petty revenge. It’s usually impossible to prove, and if you do it right, you get to live rent-free in someone’s head for the rest of the day. It’s so ridiculously childish that if they complain, they end up sounding even pettier than you.

Then there’s my latest doctor’s appointment. Let’s just say I briefly thought things were about to get very awkward… until I realized a Spanish accent somehow makes absolutely everything sound sexy. It also didn’t help that the doctor walked in with the confidence of a female Don Juan, looked me up and down like I was fresh meat, and told me I was Superman.

I mean… what did she expect?

Hope you enjoy the sesh!

We’re always telling people to know their value. Don’t accept anything less in life than what you’re worth. Except when it comes to working. Your value is what they tell you it is. And whatever you think your worth is lie.

The economy sucks, unemployment is up and everyone is fighting for scraps. Mean while we’ve got dudes on the internet calling us idiots for answering when asked our salary expectations in an interview.

Apparently it’s a trap for idiots.

Well sign me as idiot number one, cause I always answer that question. Apparently it’s a bad idea because it’s an HR trick. You should answer with “I have to talk to my family about that” and avoid the question.

How about, don’t ask the question if you don’t expect an answer. Why are these dudes playing games in job interviews?

Why do we insist on playing with people? Can’t we just be truthful? Toying with the unemployed in an interview over salary expectations is on par with teasing the homeless with a home cooked meal.

Instead of being giant D bags, how about being transparent and upfront about what you expect. You’re not a troll guarding a bridge asking potential bridge goers 3 questions to cross.

Hope you enjoy the sesh

It’s been a while since I got to sesh with you folks. Things got a little squirely over here and I had a hard time finding a job. Well I finally found one and I was finally able to have a sesh.

A lot has happened in the past month and after adjusting to split shifts and standing in one place for 10 hrs a day I finally have a few things worth talking about.

Had a solid conversation with my dad about his back pain and how to manage it, also that he might want to consider surgery as his issue is not just muscle related as his doctors assessment mentioned.

So this sesh is all about the new job, the things I didn’t expect, clearing the air about how THC and CBD help back pain together and how weird the world of manufacturing is.

Hope you enjoy the Sesh.

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Justin dives into a massive realization about the human brain that took him way too long to figure out—and it’s the kind of high thoughts topic that completely changes how you look at the people around you.It starts with a simple question that always derails a good conversation: when you think a thought, what do you actually see or hear inside your head? Most of us spend our entire lives assuming that everyone else’s brain has the exact same default settings as ours. For me, it’s always been a random mix. Sometimes I have a clear inner monologue chatting away, sometimes I see words written out like subtitles, sometimes it’s a movie, and other times it’s just total silence. You assume that’s just how the human mind works. But when you actually bring it up in the circle, reality breaks. You find out one friend has a non-stop, 24/7 internal voice that literally never shuts up. Another person looks at you like you’re crazy because they’ve never heard a voice or seen a visual image in their entire life—they just feel the thought, do the action, and move on. Then you have the people who only think in vivid pictures, or the ones who only see text.If you love a good unfiltered podcast packed with relatable humor and observational humor, this episode is a trip. It turns out we aren’t just interpreting ideas differently. Our brains are literally running entirely different operating systems under the hood.If we can’t even experience the inside of our own foreheads the same way, how the hell are we ever supposed to understand each other? Tune in for some real talk, plenty of sarcastic humor, and the ultimate deep dive into how our minds actually function.Discovering how differently people think—from a constant inner monologue to total visual aphantasia—is a wild reminder of why we need a good cannabis comedy show to break down how weird the human experience really is. If you’re looking for a cannabis podcast that blends cannabis culture with cannabis infused comedy and mind-bending stoner comedy, you’ve found it. This is comedy podcast gold that will have you questioning your own mind.

Could You Survive Prison: Sesh Hypotheticals, Hear Me Out

This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Justin goes down a true crime rabbit hole and lands on the one question every guy has asked himself at least once — could you actually survive prison?

It starts the way all great sesh conversations do. Someone asks if they could take Mike Tyson. Someone else wants to know how many guys they could fight at once. Then that one dude in the circle — you know exactly who he is — announces he’d destroy a pack of wolves, go full Navy SEAL on anyone who touched his family, and could absolutely take five guys at once. Shut up Carl.

But then the real question hits. If we’re all so tough, could we actually survive jail?

The reality check is brutal. You’re not Jason Statham. You’re a blue collar dad who was mowing the lawn yesterday, having tea parties with a three year old, and giving your wife foot massages. Now you’re supposed to walk into the yard and cold cock a gang member with a full dad bod, a touch of arthritis, and zero training.

Yeah. Right.

This one hits different. 🌿
